Should You Have Any Concerns:

  • If you have a complaint or concern about the level of care you have received from an osteopath or any other member of staff, please let us know.
  • We hope that most problems can be resolved quickly and easily with the person concerned.
  • If your problem cannot be addressed in this way and you wish to make a complaint, please let us know as soon as possible.
  • Please ask for an appointment with the principal of the practice or alternatively write to her.
  • If your complaint is about the principal and you do not want to talk or write to her directly, please contact any other osteopath at the practice.
  • We will investigate your complaint during the following few days and will aim to:-
  1.  Find out what happened and what went wrong.
  2.  Arrange for you to discuss this with those concerned if this is what you would like.
  3.  Make sure you receive an apology if this is appropriate.
  4.  Identify what we can do as a practice to ensure that this problem does not arise again.
  • If you are complaining on behalf of someone else, we will need a note of consent from the person concerned.

If you are concerned about safety, are uncomfortable about complaining directly to the practice or are dissatisfied with the outcome of your complaint and you wish to investigate a formal complaint with the regulatory body, the General Osteopathic Council (osteopathy) can be contacted on 0207 357 6655 and at, and the Health and Care Professions Council (podiatry) can be contacted on 0845 300 6184 and at

Please note that the General Osteopathic Council and the Health and Care Professions Council cannot award compensation.
